Strongers . left this review about Tap And Can
Tap & Can has a beer shelf across the front window and four large beer hall type tables up the right to the wooden serving counter along the rear where craft keg is available alongside at least three hand pumps that were drawing Neepsend’s Viridios, New Invention’s Dockside Mild and a great pint of Verdant’s Skylark. The walls are covered in 6.5 years’ worth of pump and craft keg clips, and I found the owner to be very approachable. The background music was ok, but I was the only customer with my visit being just after the midweek opening of 17:00. I liked it in here and will return when next in the area.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Tap And Can
Part micro-pub, part craft beer bar and part bottle (or rather tin) shop. Narrow, two-part rectangular interior with canteen-style furniture and quite subdued lighting. With two of the four handpumps in use, I found North Riding's Nelson Sauvin (£4.80) and Mixtape - Volume 9 from Fyne Ales being served, together with nine beers of various styles on the keg taps.

Oggwyn Great left this review about Tap And Can
Pretty busy on my early Saturday evening visit , 10 crafty keg taps and 3 of the 4 handpulls on , my pint of Burning Sky - Day by Day was spot on , lots of craft beers in cans and bottles available in a variety of styles only matched by the variety of beards on show from the locals . The back wall of the Gents is actually part of the Castle Foundations but the OSB board covered walls on the other 3 sides remind me of my old shed .
I liked it here and i can see it being a regular haunt for me when in town
